Two Retirements

For 24 years Sheila Madden has worn two hats splendidly; one as TCU’s Music Librarian, and another as violist with the Fort Worth Symphony.  She now retires from the Library to take a full time chair in the symphony.  We will miss her, but there is consolation in the fact that she remains here in Fort Worth and promises not to be a stranger to the Library.

Glenda Stevens, Jim Wright Archivist for the past 13 years, “retired” from TCU in February to move to Lawrence, Kansas where she and husband Paul will be able to spend more time with their daughter, son-in-law and grandsons.  She has been offered an opportunity to work with congressional papers by the Robert J Dole Institute of Politics at the University of Kansas.   We wish her well.
