Janet Evanovich Comes to Fort Worth

It was a sultry summer evening on July 22; thunder clouds overhead threatened to cast a pall over the long awaited and planned for “Evening with Janet Evanovich and Jeff Guinn” from the Star Telegram.  Janet is the author of the Stephanie Plum Series and Full Speed novels, in case you happen to be the one of the few folks who hasn’t heard of one of the nation’s best selling authors. You really missed something if you weren’t among the more than 1000 men and women who were in attendance that evening.  Fans filled the Ed Landreth Auditorium on the TCU Campus to near overflow; all were charmed by Jeff’s artful questions and the candid and humorous author’s facts and little known tidbits that contributed to the books she wrote. Time was even suspended for fans to participate in a question and answer period after the interview was complete.  Borders Books was in attendance selling Janet Evanovich novels fast and furious as the line out of the auditorium progressed by their tables to the final chapter in the evening… for after the interview was over, everyone reported for their own personal audience and photo with Janet; clearly, a good time was had by all.  Many thanks are extended to the volunteers and fans who contributed to the overall success of the evening.  The event was sponsored by Friends of the TCU Library
