TCU Library Newsletter, Web Edition
As my final message as President of the Friends of the TCU Library, I want to express my appreciation to all our members for their enthusiastic and continued support of the Friends. You are the heart and soul of our organization, and it is through your support that the Friends exists.Thank you for allowing me to serve as President of the Friends. I am truly grateful.
I also want to thank the members of the Executive Committee for their loyal and helpful support. Each of you has given so much valuable time and effort in advancing the purposes of the Friends. Through your hard work, our organization continues to achieve the goals for which it was founded.
Finally, I want to express my sincerest appreciation and gratitude to University Librarian Bob Seal and his outstanding staff. It is your support and hard work, before, during and after normal working hours, that enables the Executive Committee to function and the Friends to flourish.
As a closing remark, you may recall that at our Annual Dinner last year, we celebrated the Friends' twenty-fifth anniversary. Our Annual Dinner this year is scheduled for April 3 at Colonial Country Club. Our guest speakers will be Jim and Kate Lehrer, and the evening is guaranteed to be fun. So, please join us on April 3, and celebrate the successful first year of our second quarter century.
