Harriet Hunt was the recipient
of the fifth General Staff Recognition Award at the annual staff and
Friends Board luncheon in January. She was recognized by her peers for her
cheerful, positive attitude and her many contributions to the success of
her department and the Library. She is cooperative and a team player,
hardworking and dedicated to her job. She has demonstrated great
flexibility by her willingness to adapt to the many changes in her area
throughout her 16-year tenure in the Library. She has a great sense of
humor and seems to enjoy being teased by her co-workers, especially in the
lounge at lunchtime. She takes great pride in the Library and TCU and
proudly wears purple and white on game days and rarely misses a game. She
is also involved in the Staff Assembly, serving her second year as
secretary and member of the Executive Committee.
Presented by Eugenia Trinkle, president, the award
includes a signed certificate, check from the Friends for $250 and her
name engraved on the plaque that hangs in the lobby of the TCU Library.
