Dean Bob Seal Accepts Position at Loyola University in Chicago
By Nowell Donovan, Provost
After a stay of eleven years at TCU, Bob Seal, Dean of the Library, has accepted the position of Dean of the Library with Loyola University, Chicago. He will begin the new position in early fall. The fresh challenges that Bob will face in rejuvenating the library at Loyola are both considerable and exciting, offering a chance for an exceptional person to, yet again, make a significant difference.
Bob clearly will be missed; I know of no one in recent years who has been a more splendid servant of this university. Bob has been the principal catalyst in his main task-- the metamorphosis of our library into an institution of high quality and technological sophistication.
