Congratulations to Diana Boerner, Business Reference Librarian and Robyn Reid, Social Sciences Reference Librarian, the recipients of the 2014 Staff Excellence Award. Funded by the Friends of the TCU Library, the staff excellence award recognizes outstanding performances by a Library staff member. Diana and Robyn share this year's award as they both were recognized by their colleagues as going above and beyond. Exemplifying the Library's mission they regularly provide specialized research support, expertise, and the right resources to ensure TCU students and faculty meet their academic goals.
Robyn goes out of her way to help her faculty navigate resources for research and classes. She is passionate about what she does and makes a difference in the lives of faculty and students. Her work with Frog Camp is exemplary. My research would not be going nearly as smoothly as it if not for the assistance Robyn has provided. Robyn is truly phenomenal. She is unfailingly kind as well as extremely helpful.
Diana has become an excellent trainer and is most willing to share her expertise to faculty and staff. She is knowledgeable of her subject matter and very adept at training others. She truly does give excellent customer service. Diana goes above and beyond to help faculty and students and always makes herself available. She has such a great attitude and represents not only the best at the TCU Library, but also the best at TCU.
