The TCU Library was named winner of the Texas Library Association (TXLA) Branding Iron Award for Best Campaign. The TCU READ Campaign won for best outstanding work in promoting library services.
We were also highlighted in the summer issue of the Texas Library Journal.The National Endowment for the Humanities in collaboration with the American Library Association is providing 25 books to introduce readers to new perspectives in Muslim culture. Social Sciences librarian Robyn Reid won the grant Bridging Cultures: Muslim Journeys for the TCU Library.
Congratulations to Michael Weiss, Computer Support Specialist, the recipient of the 2013 Staff Excellence Award, funded by the Friends of the TCU Library. The award recognizes outstanding performance by a Library staff member. Michael's expertise, knowledge, outstanding service, dedication and support of the Library's mission has made a huge impact—he is an absolute asset to the library.
The Library recieved its annual gift from the Friends of the TCU Library. With this kind gift, the Library was able to expand its database collection by purchasing works of Aristotle, Foucault and Plato in electronic versions from Intelex Past Masters.
