Research Librarians | MCB Library 2012-2013 Annual Report

It's Our Job to Share the Knowledge!

TCU's Research Librarians enhance life with their knowledge, experience, and dedication. They are the connection to research and information.

What I like most about the library is the helpful and enthusiastic librarians. The assistance they provide is right-on!

This year, the library kicked off a new campaign, "There's a librarian in your field!" for the 2012-2013 academic year. The idea behind the theme is to demonstrate that each subject & research librarian can transform the lives of students (and faculty) by helping them achieve educational and academic goals in their field of study.

Many students, especially first-year students, are not aware of the magnificent resources available to them at the Mary Couts Burnett Library. This well received campaign has allowed each research librarian to make meaningful relationships with students while teaching them how to make the best use of library resources. They are the connection to research and information.

New ad campaign for the Library carries the theme "There's a librarian in your field!""The librarians are always helpful and enthusiastic," says Minh Anh Dinh, senior TCU student. "They have given me so much support and guidance whenever I need help with my research projects or merely when I wanna learn more about other resources available. I love how happy and dedicated they are to provide the best for TCU students."

The campaign includes catchy and colorful posters which are displayed around campus, a robust presence on social media like Facebook and a regular occurrence on our website.

Now, we are counting on a great reception for our new campaign beginning fall 2013 as we continue making a positive impact.
